If you’ve waited to see whether your favorite team qualified before buying Final Four tickets, there’s no time to waste. Just hours after Seattle became the first city since Omaha in 2006 to host a Division 1 volleyball championship involving a local team, fans who haven’t yet purchased tickets for this week’s matches will have to scramble.

As of Saturday, roughly 1,300 seats remained through Ticketmaster. Tickets are for all three matches: Thursday’s two semifinals and Saturday’s title match. Expect those remaining seats to be gone soon.

TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM EACH OF THE FOUR SCHOOLS

According to the Seattle Sports Commission, the Athletic Departments for Washington, Wisconsin, Penn State and Texas will be allocated approximately 200 tickets each. Those may only be available to folks with connections (donors, alumni, who knows?), but each school’s ticket office should hopefully be prepared to announce on Monday whether any tickets will be sold to regular folks.

TICKETS FOR VOLLEYBALL COACHES

If you are a volleyball coach and not yet registered to attend the annual American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) conference, a limited number of walk-up registrations will be available starting 1PM Tuesday at the Washington State Convention Center. Paid registration may allow you to separately purchase tickets to the Final Four matches. In any event, the AVCA Convention is an exceptional opportunity for volleyball coaches to network and to learn from an all-start lineup of experts.

TICKETS FOR THE CREATIVE

Key Arena has roughly 4 dozen suites; less than 10 are still available. If you and 15 of your friends can get together, the shared cost ($1,600-$2,500 per suite) might be manageable, especially if you factor in parking privileges or can justify it as a business-related expense.
