Starting today, individual and group tickets are available
for the 2013 NCAA Women’s Volleyball
Final Four, to be played December 19 & 21 at Seattle’s Key Arena.
This will be the first major NCAA team sport championship
hosted by Seattle in almost 20 years. Organizers hope demand will be high,
since two teams in the region—Washington
and Oregon—are among the nation’s
elite. In the first AVCA coaches’ poll
of the preseason, Washington is ranked #5 and the Ducks are #8.
The Seattle Sports
Commission, which is producing the event, provides the following link for
purchases. Note that you must enter the code “NCAAVB” for individual purchases
and “VBGROUP” for group tickets.
When studying the seating chart, note that the NCAA reserves
several courtside sections for fans of the four teams that reach the
semifinals. A wider array of seats will be made available after August 16.
