Huskies sweep in desert

The University of Washington completed a two match weekend sweep, blanking Arizona State 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-13.) The Huskies held the Sun Devils to a zilch (.000) team hitting average (29 kills/29 errors.)

Washington had fourteen team blocks, led by senior middle blocker Lauren Barfield (2 solo, 7 assisted). Freshman outside hitter Krista Vansant led the team with 10 kills on 26 swings (.308). Bianca Rowland added 8 kills (.353) and Kylin Munoz had 7 kills (.500).

The victory came on the heels of Friday's 3-0 win against Arizona. Washington is now 3-1 in the Pac-12 and 11-1 overall.
