know?” says Barfield. “So, when you’re really tall, you kind of stand out in a
way you don’t want to.”

Tonight and tomorrow night, during UWTV’s live coverage of Washington’s
Pac-12 contests against USC and UCLA, Barfield and Rowland chat with
6-6 teammate Amanda Gil about the challenges
and rewards of being, well, above average.
It’s all part of Quick
Set, a new UWTV feature, to be broadcast during the break after the second
set. If you attend the matches in person, you can watch a replay of the USC match on Sunday at 12noon and the UCLA match on Monday at 4pm.
