NCAA | Media, coaches, RPI all concur: Washington volleyball close to a top NCAA seed

RPI and standings could favor Huskies in bid to be one of four #1 seeds
  • next Oregon State @ #3 Washington | November 27 | 6PM

Voters in this week’s Volleyball Magazine media poll agreed with the AVCA coaches’ poll, and pegged Washington behind Stanford. Nonetheless, Washington has the opportunity this week to (a) win the Pac-12 title outright, and (b) end up as one of only four major conference schools with two or fewer losses on the season. That—with a potentially stronger RPI than Stanford—could be enough to earn Washington one of the four top regional seeds.

(If, of course, the Huskies beat Oregon State Wednesday, and Washington State Friday.)

Washington remains in the Volleyball Magazine media poll top 5
