Washington drops five notches in coaches' poll

Another silly week of results at the top of the poll.

Illinois keeps winning, but struggles. USC has won ten straight in the Pac-12 … including a 3-0 sweep of Cal. Yet somehow Cal is ahead of USC. Go figure.

And, from where I sit, San Diego’s opponents on its way to 20-1 are more impressive than 19-1 Northern Iowa’s schedule.
