3	Washington	0-0	4-0	Scary moment for Huskies when Vansant tweaked her ankle; Canadian Natl Team offers a peek at older, international players.
4	Arizona St	0-0	3-0	Sun Devils knocked off ranked Wichita St, but stays unranked by nation's coaches. We remain wary of ASU’s ascent until proven otherwise.
5	UCLA	0-0	3-0	Bruins pushed around by Loyola Marymount; big test Saturday against Hawai’i in Honolulu
6	Oregon	0-0	3-1	Ducks have decidedly different chemistry this season: will they melt or catch fire? Weekend matches at Michigan, Mich St could tell.

10	Utah	0-0	3-0	Utes avoided an upset at the hands of Utah St, and needed four sets against Fairfield and N Iowa. Just two seniors on roster.
11	Washington St	0-0	3-0	Cougs have a lot of talented freshmen, led by Kyra Holt (49 kills); a weak nonconference schedule could build (false?) confidence.
12	Colorado	0-0	1-1	Buffs split a pair with respectable St. Mary’s, but odd preseason schedule will make them hard to peg.
