Lake Travis High School of Austin, Texas qualified for the Texas state 4A volleyball championships with a 3-1 victory over Richmond Foster HS Thursday night.
Lake Travis Katy Beals signed a letter of intent on November 9 to attend Washington next fall. Beals, playing in a two-setter offense, had 33 assists and 7 kills.
Lake Travis is undefeated this season, and is the defending state champion. Six of its players will attend D1 schools next season on volleyball scholarships. Beals and teammate Amy Neal were both named first-team high school All-Americans earlier today.
