For the fifth week in a row, five Pac-12 teams are among the top seven in the weekly coaches’ poll is conducted by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
- The top 12 are unchanged from last week.
- Hawai’i keeps getting love, even though it plays in a weak conference.
- A very strong BYU team picked up only its second loss of the season, and got punished too much.
- Kansas beat Kansas State this weekendd. Kansas has a (slightly) better record than Kansas State. Naturally, coaches ranked Kansas lower than Kansas State.
- Illinois finally—finally!—dropped from the poll. Ohio State should be next.
- How about a little more love for Miami?
