The more you know about the how and why of volleyball, the
more fun it is to watch and play.
This week, Washington
leads all 328 Division 1 teams in blocks per set. Washington coach Jim
McLaughlin talks about one of the keys to being a great blocker.

Also this week, the Huskies dropped just their second match
of the season, a 3-2 decision to Stanford. Coach McLaughlin admits the loss
still stings, but explains why certain important lessons can sometimes only be
learned after defeat. In particular, he cites the exceptional play of sophomore
Kaleigh Nelson.
Watch, too, as McLaughlin reveals whether or not he enjoys travelling to Los Angeles each year to face the Bruins and the Trojans.
